According to the information received, student Indradev was missing from home since yesterday evening. This morning his body was recovered from under the bridge. It is being told that he was brutally murdered with a sharp weapon by unknown criminals. The miscreants murdered him overnight and threw the body in a ditch, 150 meters south of the bridge. The incident came to light when some people were walking. During this time, his eyes fell on the abandoned dead body.
After which the said news spread like wildfire in the entire area. On receiving information about the incident, Bhitthamod police station incharge Ravikant Kumar and company incharge of Sashastra Seema Bal along with other police forces reached the spot. Where the body was taken into custody after investigation. The body has been sent to Sitamarhi Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. In this regard, Bhitthamod police station incharge Ravikant Kumar said that strict action is being taken to find out the reasons for the murder and arrest the culprit soon.
At present the unknown criminal is out of the custody of the police. Police are conducting raids at various places to arrest criminals. It is said that the father of the deceased supports the family by running a paan shop. If sources are to be believed, the deceased was addicted to illicit drugs.
